Less than 1 mile from downtown Breckenridge and to the gondola, the Elkhorn Lodge is a breathtaking 5 bedroom (+1 non-conforming bunk bedroom), 4 bathrooms private home that comfortably hosts up to 12 guests. Mountain Views all around! Our home is perfectly fit for large families or multiple small families. The home was designed to allow guests to connect together in one space, or separate into groups in other rooms of the home.

The home features beautifully furnished rooms with soaring vaulted ceilings, a spacious and well equipped kitchen, a separate dining room, two living areas, a heated garage, play set for kids outside, three decks, two fireplaces and a private hot tub. Two master King suites on the upper levels, a King bedroom on the upper level and two bedrooms downstairs, 2-XL Twins and a King. Additional space in the office connected through the garage, desk space and bunk beds. We invite you to imagine yourself among friends and family, enjoying a delicious home-cooked dinner before relaxing in front of a warm fire in one of the two living areas or soaking in the beautiful new hot tub after a big day of mountain activities. Guests will enjoy 1-Gbps Internet, access to 4-TVs, 2-AppleTV and a 1-DVD player. Start all over the next day with breakfast made in the spacious kitchen or enjoy a cup of coffee on the deck while taking in the views of Peak 6.

House Rules

Shoes must be removed at the entryway. All snow gear should remain in the garage mudroom area, skis can hang in the racks on the garage wall. The garage is heated. Absolutely no smoking, of any kind inside the home. If you need to smoke you can easily walk outside away from any doors. Please be mindful of this requirement. If the cleaning team alerts us that the unit has a smoke stench, the guests will be required to pay an additional $1,000 to $2,500 cleaning fee. Be respectful of your neighbors just as you would in your own home. Please be a good person and abide by these requirements.

The east side of Breckenridge is walking distance to Breckenridge Town and Summit Stage shuttles, and in the summer Main Street is about 10-15 minute walk.

Guest Access

As a guest, you'll have full access to the entire property, grounds, garage, driveway. We have a locked owner's closet, locked owner's cabinet and a locked owner's shed.

This is the 2nd time with stay at Jason's. We had many places to pick from as advertised on the web but we picked Jason's because we had an amazing time in the past, the location, his quick response to our questions, and the overall coziness of his place. The place is very ample--having a main house and a "wing" --so that we can be together and yet be independent. The house is also very well equipped with everything we needed to feel at home yet had a "hotel" feel to it. It is 5 minutes driving distance to downtown restaurants and within 30 min or so we got to the golf and hike. Finally--a momma moose and her calf visited every day. I would pick this place again any day!

Absolutely stunning house nestled in the mountains of Breckenridge. Elkhorn Lodge was everything we wanted for a family vacation in the Colorado Rockies. Easy access to downtown and the gondola to Peak 8. The house had all the room and amenities to suit our families needs for this trip. Jason was very friendly and easy to communicate with. Would highly recommend to anyone seeking a picturesque and fun filled vacation in Breckinridge.

We loved our stay at this mountain home. The house had a great set up for multiple families and it was well-stocked with toys, games, and kitchen supplies. Jason was very responsive and helpful and the house was clean when we arrived.

We had 4 adults and 4 kids and had a great time in this home. Our kids had a blast with the game room, outdoor play set, bunk room off the garage, and provided games. For me, the kitchen was easy to use, I loved listening to the birds in the morning with open windows, and there were plenty of places for privacy inside and out. Even though the neighborhood was busy with guests while we were there, they all took the noise ordinance seriously. Everything we did was a short drive away. Jason was also an excellent communicator. Would love to return.

Spent a fantastic week in this beautiful mountain home. Jason is an exceptional host and his home was the most well appointed, clean, and well stocked property I've ever visited. The local noise ordinance is a little nervewracking but Jason explains the quiet hours regulation very clearly in his instructions. I would love to stay again. Highly recommend!

This mountain home is spacious and stunning. We enjoyed dining together at the large dining table, hanging out in either living space and soaking in the hot tub. The kitchen had every possible tool you may need to prepare a group meal- we all agreed it was the best kitchen we’ve cooked in. Great location and accommodation for families- with ample accessories and extras for kids, from toys and puzzles, to children’s dishes. Jason was friendly and accommodating in every way. Location is convenient to downtown, the mountains, grocery store and sledding hill. Breck is a great destination and this home is perfect for groups. We had a great stay at this house and will be back again!

Walking is the most preferred option. Guests can opt to drive, or take the Breck Free Ride (about 10 minute walk to the stop) will take you throughout Breckenridge and connect you to Frisco, Silverthorne, Dillon, Keystone, Arapahoe Basin, Copper via the Summit Stage Bus System - all free.
